- Canal aspect: This is on the offside of the Ashton Canal. I was surprised to see a house like this so close to the city with easy access to the city centre via Metrolink. The Streetview screenshot below shows how you could clear the canal edge like the neighbour has done. Maybe you could even have a little tupperware boat there! It's a good one for sporty people - it's on the doorstep of the SportCity area, there's a lovely park nearby, a velodrome, the Manchester City football ground and more, all within walking distance. I'd want to visit late in the evening to see whether there are any issues on the green beside the property. But it seems to be quite exclusive to the development, and sticking a camera up on the house would probably deter any potential troublemakers.
